Dumnonia Cider — Brand Identity, Packaging & Web Design
In early 2025, we partnered with exciting new cider brand Dumnonia to create a full brand identity, product packaging, and promo website ahead of their release later in the year.
The brief was twofold: craft a brand that feels fresh, vibrant, and festival-ready—appealing to a younger, more casual audience—while also grounding it in the rich heritage of traditional Devon cider-making. Dumnonia, named after the ancient Celtic kingdom once rooted in the South West, draws deeply from that local history. Our goal was to bring that heritage to life in a way that felt contemporary, not nostalgic.
The identity blends modern design with Celtic influence—from the custom wordmark and cider tree icon to the detailed can artwork inspired by ancient motifs. Each flavour features a unique colour palette and pattern, but together they form a cohesive set designed to stand out on sunny shelves and beachside bars alike.
Alongside the visual identity, BOYD Creative also built a streamlined landing page to support early marketing efforts, with a full e-commerce rollout planned ahead of launch.
